It’s Slime time.
Young Thug has announced that his long-awaited album So Much Fun will drop this Friday, Aug. 16. He cleared out his Instagram account to reveal the release date and cover art, which features hundreds of miniature Thugs who come together to form his face on a grassy field, while he carves out the album title with a lawn mower.
The artwork received praise from his friends including A$AP Ferg, who wrote, “Art work is amazing,” while Lil Nas X added, “cover go crazy.”
The album is reportedly being executive produced by J. Cole, who also appears on the single “The London,” which also features Travis Scott. In May, Thug previewed a collaboration with Nipsey Hussle, which could appear on the project.

So Much Fun marks Thug’s first project since 2017’s Beautiful Thugger Girls and his Super Slimey collaborative project with Future.
Following the album’s release, he will embark on a joint tour with Machine Gun Kelly, starting Sept. 30 in Toronto with special guests Polo G, YBN Nahmir, Killy, and Strick.
In addition to his own project, he is working on a sequel to Super Slimey with Future, Lil Baby, and Gunna.
