Hollywood superstar Will Smith is giving fans a reason to count down the months until May 2019. Everyone’s favorite big screen actor has shared a sneak peek at his upcoming Aladdin movie.
On Wednesday, Big Willy went to Instagram with the new Disney flick’s first poster.
Last year, Will Smith shared pics from the star-studded Aladdin set.
Will Smith has shared the first cast photo of Disney’s live-action “Aladdin” with a post on his Facebook page as Guy Ritchie begins filming the movie in London. Other cast members in include Navid Negahban (“Homeland”) as the Sultan; Nasim Pedrad (“Saturday Night Live”) as Dalia, Princess Jasmine’s hand maiden and confidante; Billy Magnussen (“Into the Woods”) as Prince Anders, a potential husband for Princess Jasmine; and Numan Acar (“Homeland”) as Hakim, Jafar’s right-hand man and head of the palace guards. Movie director Guy Ritchie is behind the highly-anticipated reimagined version of 1992’s Disney flick.
Aladdin is directed by Guy Ritchie (Sherlock Holmes, The Man from U.N.C.L.E.) from a screenplay by John August (Dark Shadows, Big Fish) based on the 1992 animated film Aladdin and stories from “One Thousand and One Nights.” The producer is Dan Lin (The LEGO Movie) with Golden Globe winner Marc Platt (La La Land), Jonathan Eirich (Death Note) and Kevin De La Noy (The Dark Knight Rises) serving as executive producers.
