Kanye West is the latest to cover the upcoming May issue of GQ Magazine. The Yeezy CEO sat down with the publication to talk about his visions for the future, restored faith, new music, Kobe Bryant and more.
Ye was also asked about the possibility of a Nike Air Yeezy Retro. West’s Air Yeezy 1 and 2 are exclusive pairs that run anywhere from $5,000-$20,000. Back in 2014, Ye ended his partnership with Nike over creative differences and took his talents to Adidas. Since its premiere release in 2015, his Adidas/Yeezy sneaker line is currently one of if not the most in-demand in footwear since Jordan. Ye seemed to be fine about the retro idea when asked about it.
“Man I’m with everything,” said the father of 4. “Man, anything that the kids want and the people want. People should be able to have what they want.”
