Machine Gun Kelly (EST 19XX/Bad Boy/Interscope Records) has officially released his pop-punk single “why are you here” music video. Directed by Miles and AJ, the video tells the story of love turned sour between MGK and a former fling. In the video, he displays his affinity for alternative rock and fashion. This is shown through both the video’s aesthetics and his daring fashion statements. Adding an edgy twist to high profile attire, he sports designs from Dior, Saint Laurent and Calvin Klein.
The video arrives on the heels of his two hit singles “Candy” ft. Trippie Redd and “I Think I’m Okay” featuring YUNGBLUD and Travis Barker. Last year also saw the release of Machine Gun Kelly’s latest studio album Hotel Diablo. In addition, he had a duly-titled sold-out world tour. MGK is now gearing up for another energetic year. The world now awaits the impending release of his pop-punk LP Tickets to My Downfall.
He will next be seen opposite Pete Davidson in Jason Orley’s comedy Big Time Adolescence. It’s being released by NEON in theaters on March 13 and streaming on Hulu on March 20. He is also set to star opposite Sam Worthington on the big screen in the forthcoming action western; The Last Song of Issac LeMay.
