How did you get this job anyway?
New millennial artist and social media influencer DC Young Fly is feeling the burn today after not being able to name Redman and Method Man as the stars of the original How High in a sit down with the crew from Mostly Football.
Fly was asked who were the original stars of the film that he and Lil Yachty will be replacing in the sequel How High 2 and the Wild N’ Out comedian erroneously answers,
“Kid N Play!”
He’s going to hear it for a while behind that one, even though his excuse for blurting out he wrong answer was that he was “high as hell.”
Red and Meth will not be starring in the sequel of the cult classic, but Redman asserts that it has nothing to do with either Boat of Fly’s involvement.
“Me and Meth were not aware they were doing this transaction with the movie. I’m not mad at Yachty or DC Fly. It has nothing to do with them. I’m not even upset because God always places things in the right position,” Redman said.
“My thing is when you have a brand, like Red and Meth, that kind of helped built and created this entity of How High and shooting a movie on marijuana and being in college – those were all of our ideas. And when the new deal [for part two] came about, we wasn’t involved in it.”
How High 2 is slated for theaters on 420 of this year.
