Maybach Music Group’s Wale is out here looking for a potential sneaker deal – maybe. The hip-hop veteran went to social media to playfully let followers know he might be in the market for a pair of signature kicks.

Ralph Folarin hit up Instagram this week with an unexpected “sneaker free agent” caption.

Instead of commenting on the kicks reference, MMG boss Rick Ross went to IG Thursday to call Wale a genius.

Coincidentally, Wale recently hinted at possibly having his own cannabis strain.

The Washington, DC native has kept busy lately putting in studio work.
