Little Mix holds court with the Queen, Nicki Minaj, in the regal video for “Woman Like Me.”
Directed by Marc Klasfeld and filmed in London and L.A., the clip finds Perrie, Jesy, Leigh-Anne, and Jade showing off their pristine moves in a castle and flaunting their fierce fashion. They go through finishing school, balancing books on top of their heads and learning how to eat properly. But the girls can’t be dimmed and their sassy personalities eventually shine through. Nicki comes to life as a piece of art, rocking a ruffled collar and crown while popping out of a painting on the wall.
The collaboration was a long time coming for Little Mix. “We’ve been desperate to have you on a song for years and years when it finally came in we were absolutely buzzing,” Jade told Nicki on Queen Radio. “It’s kind of melodic the way you have done the rap and it really matches the song. We’re so, so grateful that you’ve been a part of it.”
“Woman Like Me” is a single off Little Mix’s upcoming fifth album LM5, which will be released globally on Nov. 16.
During their Queen Radio interview, Nicki also invited Little Mix to join her on her upcoming U.S. tour next May.
