Uncle Murda To Lifetime: “When Is ‘Surviving The Catholic Church’ Coming Out?”

Uncle Murda

New York rapper Uncle Murda isn’t satisfied with Lifetime putting out its groundbreaking three-night Surviving R. Kelly docuseries. The hip-hop veteran has singled out the network about continuing the momentum.

Murda went to Instagram Monday (January 7) and urged Lifetime to consider focusing on doing a similar TV project based on the thousands of Catholic church sexual assault victims.

This week, UGK’s Bun B took a firm stance againt Kelly and some of his affiliates.

Over the weekend, Kelly protégé Sparkle released a new song inspired by the Lifetime event

Sparkle alleges Kelly offered her money to stay quiet, which she refused and resulted in the singer losing her music career. However, now she has a new song with lyrics that say, “Said that we were weak long enough, but time is up/ We ain’t weak/ We have a voice and its loud, no we ain’t just figure it out/ When we come together we win we overcome battles, we fall, we’ll do it again/ And it’s never been an easy win, but we are ready.” (BET)
