Travis Scott and Kid Cudi Get Matching ‘Rager’ Tattoos

Travis Scott celebrated his 28th birthday with friends and family during an epic rager.

On Tuesday (April 30), Kylie Jenner transformed a Universal Studios backlot into a gas station convenience store, complete with Travis-branded items including paper towels, glass cleaner, and laundry detergent, as well as a tattoo parlor. The birthday boy and billionaire beauty mogul got his-and-hers tattoos, while Travis and Kid Cudi got matching tattoos of their own.

The tats, done by NYC artist Jonboy, feature the word “Rager” on their hands. Scott’s photographer RAYSCORRUPTEDMIND shared a photo of the rappers holding up their hands while striking similar poses.

Scott has long idolized Cudi, whose alter ego is Mr. Rager, and considers him his favorite artist. The two have collaborated on a series of songs including “Through the Late Night,” “Way Back,” and “Baptized in Fire.”

“I idolize Kid Cudi a lot,” Travis told Apple Music last year. “That’s like, my favorite artist. I think he can go bar for bar. Some people think JAY-Z is the best rapper. I feel like he can compete with that and still have his own wave. I fuck with him because he always had his own lingo. He created a world for kids like me, who wasn’t just the ultimate drug dealer. He created that vibe and that planet, where you can mack on bitches and still be smooth, and still feel like you’re the king scientist. Not everyone is as real as their music is. That artist comes once every decade.”

In addition to Cudi, Travis was also joined by Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Young Thug, French Montana, G-Eazy, and Machine Gun Kelly during his birthday bash.
