R&B singer Tory Lanez is letting fans know his long-awaited Chixtape 5 is really around the corner. The hip-hop crooner went to social media this week to update fans dying to learn about the project’s status.

On Monday, Lanez went to Instagram to provide context behind the album’s delay and explain why expectations should be sky-high.

Earlier this year, Tory playfully flamed singer Trey Songz for holding up the underground effort.

Back in February, Lanez hit up Twitter to let followers know he’s cooking up some audio fire.

Days prior, Lanez promised to start putting in work on his follow-up to 2017’s Chixtape 4.
