According to a recent report from Essence, actresses Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold, best known as “Gina” and “Pam” from Martin, will be launching Tisha & Tichina Have Issues, a new talk show putting a twist on celebrity interviews.
After playing best friends on the famed 90s sitcom starring comedian Martin Lawrence, the duo will now co-host exclusive interviews wit htheir celebrity friends and public notables.
Even though the show will be filmed from the hosts’ homes due to Covid-19, it will still be heavy with celebrity tea, personal behind-the-scenes stories from Arnold and Campbell, as well as their personal career landmarks.
“Tichina and I have worked together and known each other so long…we finish each other’s jokes!,” Campbell said. “I’m happy that me and my bestie will have the opportunity to create and enjoy a platform where our audience can get intimate with us — and when our celebrity guests come through, they can bring on a friend so we can all get to know them in a more fun, open and candid way.”
“I am pleased to be working with Thinkfactory and my long-time friend and colleague Tisha Campbell on our dream project,” Arnold added. “Never before has television played a greater role in our communities, and I feel certain that connecting through our brand of positivity and laughter is sure to shine through to our forever faithful fans.”
Tisha And Tichina Have Issues is executive produced by Arnold, Campbell and Andrew Jameson of Power, while ITV America’s Thinkfactory Media will produce the show.
There is no word yet as to when the show will premiere.
