The Weeknd is ready for the next chapter.
The R&B crooner has revealed that he is back in the studio working on his next album. He made the announcement during the launch of HXOUSE, a creative agency and incubator for the arts founded by his creative director La Mar Taylor, in his hometown of Toronto on Tuesday (Nov. 6).
“I wanna let you guys know, being in Toronto these past two days… I haven’t been this inspired in years,” Abel told the crowd. “I want you guys to be the first to know that I’m working on my new album right now. Chapter 6 coming soon, let’s get it!”

It’s unclear if the album is actually titled Chapter 6. He later tweeted, “Some chapters are smaller than others. not this next one though…”
The project follows The Weeknd’s six-song EP My Dear Melancholy, which was released in March and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
