New York rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine can breathe a sigh of relief. The hip-hop veteran has reportedly had a Houston assault case dismissed.

According to reports, a judge has signed off on a 2018 physical altercation case involving Tek and a fan.

The State of Texas formally requested to have Tekashi’s assault charges stemming from an alleged 2018 altercation completely dismissed, and a judge signed off on it Monday. As for why it got tossed — first, the state says the complaining witness — or the alleged victim in this case — requested it be so … which we already knew. The kid who allegedly got choked out by Tekashi later showed up to one of the rapper’s court hearings in the matter and posed with him. (TMZ)

The jailed rap star’s girlfriend Jade went online to reflect on 6ix9ine’s commercial success.

Next month, 6ix9ine will finally learn his fate in a publicized federal drug case.

6ix9ine will be sentenced this year after pleading guilty in February to multiple federal crimes including racketeeringComplex reports. Judge Paul Engelmayer reportedly agreed to move the rapper’s sentencing date up to December 18, 2019 at 10 a.m. EST after a request was filed by 6ix9ine’s legal team. (The FADER)

Last month, rap heavyweight Game reacted to rumors about Tek landing a $10 million record deal after working with federal prosecutors in a drug racketeering case.
