Gunna’s ‘WUNNA’ is Set to Take Top Spot on Billboard 200

The number one spot on the Billboard 200 will once again be held down by a HIp-Hop album. Gunna is set for the top with his second album Wunna.

Hits Daily Double has the report and sites the YSL Records rapper to hit between 110,000 and 130,000 album-equivalent units for the first week. Of that total, 2,000 to 5,000 of the sales are traditional units.

The new album brings in Young Thug, Roddy Ricch, Travis Scott, and Lil Baby for the features across 18 tracks. You can hear the stream here.

Also releasing this week, Key Glock’s latest mixtape will bring in between 18,000 and 22,000 in its first week.

Gunna Release ‘Wunna’ Single and First Half of Documentary Ahead of New Album

Gunna’s new album Wunna is just days away from release. Ahead of his sophomore release, he has dropped the title track “Wunna.”

The luxury lifestyle is the topic of choice as Gunna floats through the track with a choppy bounce, which he appears prepared to follow up with a video. 

The single is produced by Turbo and is released on the heels of the “SKYBOX” music video. Wunna will release Friday on Young Stoner Life Records and 300 Entertainment. 

In addition to the new single, Gunna released the first part of the Wunna documentary, which brings music and all the sites and sounds of the Drip or Drown rapper’s life to screen. You can watch it below.

Gunna Announces Release Date for New ‘Wunna’ Album

Gunna has officially announced a release date for his next full-length album titled, Wunna.

Fans can officially mark the date in their calendars after weeks of waiting for the release date. The album is set to release on May 22nd. Gunna shared the news through a mini-film directed by Spike Jordan to his Instagram.

“WUNNA WORLD. Wunna Album 5/22/2020 Me My team and @amazonmusic@rotation got sum special to show y’all the creation !” he captioned the sneak peek.

The video depicts the rapper in Jamaica working on the album collaborating with producers Turbo, Keys, Taurus, and Wheezy.

A tracklist has yet to be released for the “Wunna” album, but what features do you think will help Gunna bless the booth?
