iiiso – “Time 4 You”

Portland, Washington recording artist iiiso is one of the biggest breakout new artist of 2019. With his Ego Trip: Collection EP dropping last year, iiiso returns with “Time 4 You”, the first single from his forthcoming Above Love EP.

“Time 4 You” highlights the vulnerability of getting comfortable in a relationship and fighting through society’s negative conditioning. It is easy to live a life full of mistrust when people have hurt you over and over. After linking up with producer Hushdegod on Ego Trip, the two reunite with an evolved chemistry for a full EP collaboration on Above Love.

Ludacris, Action Bronson Headline 4th Annual National Cannabis Festival In D.C.

The Nation’s Capital will undoubtedly be draped in a curious haze of smoke this coming Saturday (April 20), most especially the grounds of RFK Stadium. The fourth annual National Cannabis Festival kicks off at noon on 420, with Ludacris and Action Bronson sharing the top billing.

Along with Luda and Bronsolini, Washington’s legendary Go-Go band, The Junkyard Band, will also take the NCF stages. Joining the aforementioned acts are reggae band Strykers Posse, brass band Black Masala, and DJ Farrah Flosscett.

While music and, ahem, the sticky green leaf will be the center of the festivities tomorrow, NCF organizers also held a National Cannabis Policy Summit earlier today (April 19) at Washington’s Newseum, and we’ve breezed through to find a well-attended event with some of the most knowledgeable marijuana advocates and activists in the region and beyond.

Known as “Top Nach” is making a huge statement to solidify himself as a music mogul. You might know him for his moniker as “Mr Ticket Out The Streets” as well as his popular club banger “Ion fuk wit” and new visual just recently dropped self-titled “Akz and Glockz” as he shows his fluency taking on a small acting role.

Growing up as the youngest son of 12 children Nacho has faced many obstacles from home to outside of the home. Nacho later decided to join the military at the age of 19 years old. As some might identify his music as “Sliding Music” he says he sees himself as a diverse artist but if he had to put a label on his art he would label it “Murda Musik” it gives a whole different perspective on feeling pain from both sides of the fence. Being the victim primarily to losing his older brother which was a year apart in age to a gun shooting in Compton at the age of 12.

When asked what made him want to join Navy he stated “Crime pays, but money isn’t more valuable than your life, shit was getting hectic and I was literally watching myself dig my own grave and the navy was my ticket out the streets” Follow nacho on all social platforms @iamtopnach to stay in tune with his latest music as well as his catchy demeanor.

DMV Twitter Escorts D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser Out The Paint For Mumbo Sauce Diss

Before we start this article, we want to be fair and say that the author is a proud Washington, D.C. native and avid user of mumbo (not mambo, mumbo) sauce. This brings us to Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser, who went on to diss the hood carryout side sauce and area delicacy, prompting DMV Twitter to escort her out the paint.

For those who didn’t grow up with the greatest sauce ever made (yes, we’re sicin’ it to use the area vernacular), mumbo, aka mumble sauce is a spicy-sweet hot sauce drizzled over fried chicken wings, french fries, and pretty much anything you want. Some compare it to Chicago’s Harold’s mild sauce, but they’re totally different. There’s also some chatter about who actually invented the sauce but that’s for later.

Mayor Bowser wrote a post on Facebook Tuesday (Nov. 20) flat out slamming the sauce and saying that she was a “grown woman” before she ever heard of it. This is the part where we remind you that Mayor Bowser is a native of the city but apparently lived a sheltered life.

“Is anybody else annoyed by Mumbo sauce? I wish people would stop suggesting that it is quintessential DC. I’m just saying I was a full grown woman before I had heard of mumbo sauce! So there, I’ve said it,” Bowser wrote.

Well, as you can imagine, the slander has been high and heavy since making the statement to the point of becoming a trending topic via Twitter. We’ve collected some of our fave responses below.
