Grammy-winning rapper Eminem is big mad. Slim Shady has come forward to rip streaming powerhouse Netflix for pulling the plug on its “The Punisher” series.
Marshall Mathers went to Twitter last night to air out his issues with the digital giant over its latest Marvel series nixing.

This week, buzz developed about Netflix pulling the plug on popular shows like “The Punisher” and “Jessica Jones.”
Exactly a month after the launch of its second season on Netflix, Marvel’s The Punisher has had to bite the bullet as has Jessica Jones. This marks the end of the multi-series, big bucks and big ambitions relationship between Marvel and Netflix that started in 2013 with the announcement of four series and a The Defenders limited series. In fall 2018, Netflix shocked subscribers by announcing its “Daredevil” series would not come back for another season.
“Marvel’s Daredevil will not return for a fourth season on Netflix. We are tremendously proud of the show’s last and final season and although it’s painful for the fans, we feel it best to close this chapter on a high note,” a Netflix spokesperson said in a statement. “We’re thankful to showrunner Erik Oleson, the show’s writers, stellar crew and incredible cast including Charlie Cox as Daredevil himself, and we’re grateful to the fans who have supported the show over the years. While the series on Netflix has ended, the three existing seasons will remain on the service for years to come, while the Daredevil character will live on in future projects for Marvel.” (Variety)

In October, speculation developed about why Netflix canceled its popular “Luke Cage” Marvel series after two seasons.
A source tells The Hollywood Reporter that the cancellation was due to creative differences and the inability to agree to terms for a third season of the show. Netflix doesn’t release viewership figures for its content. (The Hollywood Reporter)
