Teck-zilla & Psalmurai (Enter the Double Dragon) – “Soul Calibre/Samurai Dreams” (Video)

Enter the Kung Fu-inspired world of Teck-Zilla & Psalmurai, the Lagos City-based duo who’s bringing steady doses of heat in their new two-part video, “Soul Calibre/Samurai Dreams,” abound with slick animated touches, footage from classic Kung Fu cinema, and shots of Teck showing off his hand-to-hand techniques in his Wushu Kwan gi. The video, which was captured by filmographer The Myth was directed by Psalmura himself. The duo matches the upbeat feel of the track off their “Enter The Double Dragon” EP by demonstrating a natural charisma that brings to mind some of the more iconic rap videos of the early ‘90s. Modenine & Teck-Zilla – “Polymath” (Video)

First video off the Esoteric Mellow joint project between Modenine (RedEyeMuzik ) and Teck-Zilla (Str8 Buttah ) “Polymath”.

“Polymath” is a bravado-laden track showcasing Modenine’s lyrical proficiency over a Hard-hitting backdrop by DJ/Producer Teck-Zilla. The video was shot in various spots in London by D-Black.

Nigerian hip-hop legend Modenine teams up with producer/DJ Teck-Zilla for a new 14-track collaborative project “Esoteric Mellow”. The project came out of unreleased sessions Modenine had some years ago and had been sitting idle until he linked up with Teck-Zilla in London and they started putting things in place. The body of work also includes remixes of previously released songs such as “Mystery Girl” and the Canibus assisted “Super Human”.

Phlow & MC Bravado – “Hip-Hop” [Prod. Teck-Zilla]

“Hip-Hop” is a one-off single that showcases the love of the art from three different perspectives.

The trio made up of Phlow and MC Bravado and Teck-Zilla each share what the culture means to them on this bombastic boom-bap infused cut. Over the solemn pounding beat, the Baltimore, US emcee speaks on how the music served as the perfect getaway for him while Phlow shares her how the music revolved around her childhood growing up in Lagos, Nigeria.

The record is finally solidified together with cuts by producer/DJ Teck-Zilla who take classic lines from legends such as Nas, AZ, Notorious B.I.G, MC Shan and even Skyzoo to bring it back home.
