Rap entertainer Stormzy is helping everyone get through their work week. The hip-hop musician has delivered his high-energy “Still Disappointed” video to the masses. Watch and comment below!
Wiley and Stormzy are perhaps two of the biggest stars in the U.K. Grime scene, and a brewing feud between the two is heating up. For those keeping score, Stormzy returned fire to Wiley with a new track “Disappointed,” and it doesn’t appear things are settling down anytime soon.
For background, Wiley’s recent diss track “Eediyat Skengman” was released on Sunday (Jan. 5) and featured the 41-year-old veteran going directly at Stormzy, including going so far to say that his younger counterpart took some of his styles while also declaring himself the top man in the Grime scene.
From Wiley’s “Eediyat Skengman”:
I know Stormzy’s good and that Yeah, I know he came from the hood and that But if the vibes that we built were drugs and we packed We’d be stacking, and he come along and took all that
Stormy, 26, didn’t wait long to fire back with “Disappointed” and while Wiley decided not to get too personal, the “Wiley Flow” rapper took it there on some of his bars.
The old man’s got a death wish Old man, you’ll regret this Alright then, challenge accepted Smoke on sight from the bruddas I step with
Wiley has heard the track and actually approved of it tweeting “I like that lets go, but blasted Stormzy for not using a Grime-styled track. He’s also been retweeting the track while fans of both men debate over the winner and loser via Twitter. Wiley also added that he has another “dub” in the tuck for Stormzy and that the beef will be done after it.
You can not say you are the king of grime using a drill riddim to send back #Breading headie ones riddim will not save u mike The war is done after my next dub
Stormzy was over the moon over the weekend after proudly declaring himself the first Black British act to headline the annual Glastonbury Festival, but had to walk those claims back. Skunk Anansie, a punk band fronted by a Black woman vocalist, actually achieved the feat 20 years prior thus sparking an apology from the “Vossi Bop” star.
Stormzy took to Twitter last weekend ahead of his headlining set and immediately was reminded by Skin, Skunk Anansie’s lead singer, of the true nature of the historic distinction.
I an first black British artist to headline Glastonbury.
At 25 years old I am the second youngest solo act to ever headline Glastonbury, the youngest being a 24 year old David Bowie in 1971.
I’m overwhelmed with emotions, this is the most surreal feeling I’ve ever experienced.
“Sorry Stormzy but we beat you to it in 1999! 20 years ago! And while we’re on topic, I was the first black Woman too! @beyonce Wishing you an awesome nite tho, Kill it! You’re amazing and we’re all very proud,” Skin wrote in a caption via an Instagram post.

Stormzy politely apologized to Skin and the band with a tweet of his own, and all is well across South London it appears. And for what it’s worth, Stormzy does own the distinction of being the first Black solo act to headline.
Skin from the band Skunk Anansie was actually the first black artist to headline glasto she done it with her band in 1999 no disrespect intended and MASSIVE salute to you – my apologies ! @skinskinny
EA Sports is bringing the most prominent names sports and music together with the FIFA 19 World Tour to take on each other in its uber-popular soccer video game franchise FIFA 19.
Today the video game company kicked off the FIFA 19 World Tour with the help of Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard, Grime artist Stormzy and comedian, rapper and actor Michael Dapaah akaBig Shaq. The first stop on tour takes us across the pond to London where we see the four take on each other in a no rules game of FIFA 19’s Kick Off mode.
Following London, EA will take the electronic version of The World’s Game to these other stops around the globe featuring these big names:
Liam Payne, Christian Pulisic, Marco Reus and more in Dortmund
For the first installment, Stormzy who has bragged about his FIFA skills was definitely getting the side-eye from the “Mans Not Hot” creator Big Shaq cause they definitely got their tails handed to them. In their defense, though they did take on two professional soccer players, so it’s quite understandable why they caught an L.
Regardless the match made for some hilarious banter between them we are looking forward to the other videos from the other tour stops. You can watch Stormzy, and Big Shaq gets schooled in FIFA 19 below.
