We are extremely excited to have featured your latest album “Elevator Music For Different Dimensions”, being a Hip Hop artist we never heard of, we are extremely honored to have promoted your music through UGHHBLOG! Please tell us who is Still DOE?

An acid eating outsider who will flyer youre whole block with wheatpaste, stickers, and stencils.

Where are you from?
Martinez, a town about 20 mins east of Berkeley and Oakland.

Give us some background on your artist name?
Started under the name Jon Doe and at some point i decided to change to change it Still DOE short for Still Jon Doe

What was the earliest hip hop memory you can recall?
Stumbling across the “Back to the Hotel” single by N2DEEP when i was about 7 or 8 years old.

How did you initially get into writing and recording music?
Juvi, lol my bunk mate was a rapper. That was 99, when I got home i wrote my first song called “Brainwashers”

Who’re some artists that inspire you?
Digital Underground, ICP, Cannibal ox, Aesop Rock. Sometimes its not even music that inspires me a conversation will be make me write an entire song.

When people listen to the songs, what do you want them to take away from it?

They got to listen to it first. lol

Last year, you dropped your latest album “Elevator Music For Different Dimensions” across all streaming platforms! Please give us some background on that project!? Could you tell me the inspiration behind the project and artwork?

I originally started the project in 2014, life happened and I put it on the back burner. After my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016 I restarted the album, then in 2018 my mom passed away from cancer while in the middle of the project, I almost scrapped the album for good after that.
I keep all my covers pretty basic.

Are you working on any new music?

Not as much as I should be.

The sound is original, unheard of, extremely creative and always outrageous. The home of Mac Dre, E-40, and the newest addition to greatness, Still Doe with his new album, titled, Elevator Music For Different Dimensions.

The 13-track album embodies the essence of the Yay Area. Exploring memorable landmarks, remember unforgettable moments in history and unveiling unknown facts from the soil. Naturally, Still Doe attracts Hip Hop fans with colorful play on words, lingo and live instrument-driven production. Is Still Doe’s new effort something you will come up to or immediately get off.

Arguably, the album’s lyricism earned validation due to its undeniable wit, creativity and originality. Weird to some but its clear that Still Doe is a representation of his region and creates for his the pleasure of his region. It is overloaded with flavor, something that isn’t unheard of coming from that region. Heard on album standouts like “Stoned Fingers” and “B.A.R.T,” Still Doe’s word is mesmerizing.

Unnatural production from beginning-to-end. The album’s chemistry is organic and will slowly infect listeners with unique elements that will unlock creativity in others.

An acquired taste, Still Doe’s regional sound will likely fly over others head but for those familiar with the sound will enjoy Elevator Music For Different Dimensions whole-heartedly. Its a vibe but if given a moment, fans will be intrigued by Still Doe’s delivery and be left satisfied. Different but overall, a fantastic voyage.
