Chicago’s son Rockie Fresh is celebrating a new record deal, signing with Rostrum Records. Fresh and Rostrum both celebrated the news of a multi-album record deal, kicking off with his debut album that is previewed with his new single “No Satisfaction.”
“Rockie has long been an artist I’ve admired,” said Rostrum founder and President Benjy Grinberg in a statement. “And I’m proud that we can be a part of history in releasing his official debut album. Over the course of making this project, I have gotten to know Rockie well. He’s not only an incredible artist but also a wonderful person. It’s really special when you find both of those qualities in someone. I can’t wait for everyone to hear this music.”
Rockie echoed the admiration to Grinberg stating “I’ve always had a lot of respect for Benjy and the system he’s built at Rostrum. Now that we are working together, I fully understand why he’s been so successful in building the careers of some of my favorite artists.”
Previously, Rockie was a member of the Maybach Music Group roster crafted by Rick Ross.
