It would seem that every time that Tiffany Haddish appears on the stage, you are sure to bust a gut laughing. You might not think the same about Rose Byrne but as a wing woman to Haddish, she is equally as funny. In their new film Like A Boss, the duo finds chemistry that is hard to come by and few people can say they have been able to achieve.

The movie allowed for Haddish to show a refreshing side of her style of comedy. It is about two long-time friends who decided to start a cosmetic business. Rose Byrne who held her weight against the acclaimed funny woman, playing the straight-laced administrator to Haddish’s uber care-free creative.
The movie takes you on a journey to see what happens when money, friendship, and loyalty comes in to play. Is Girl power all you need? Or… do you need a level of allegiance and sisterhood.

1. The Plot
The first reason you should go out to see Instant Family on Friday, November 16 is because of the overall plot. No need for insane action. No over-the-top animation required. This is a good ol’ fashioned family movie with a little pizazz needed to make it not corny. This is the type of real-life family movie everyone can not only believe but maybe even relate to. It’s hard enough trying to raise one kid, but adding two more to the mix and having to be full-blown parents with zero experience? This has all the makings of some hilarious moments!
2. The Cast
The second reason you should go out to see Instant Family is because of the full-fledged cast. This movie is packed with notable faces – of course the first being Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne. But in addition to what they bring to the table, you can look forward to Octavia Spencer, Tom Segura, Joan Cusack, Margo Martindale and Tig Notaro to really set the tone while the three kids are easily going to win you over the most.
3. The Director
The third reason you should check out Instant Family is because of the direction. Director Sean Anders has really built up an impressive track record over the past few years. Notably working with Wahlberg in Daddy’s Home and the flick’s 2017 sequel. This makes the third straight film they’ve directly worked on and follows the same chemistry and formula of a comedy-filled feel-good family movie. But not only with these films, the 49-year-old director has connections to films like We’re the Millers, Dumb and Dumber To and Horrible Bosses 2. Needless to say, when it comes to laughs, Sean is becoming Hollywood’s go-to.
4. The Genre
The fourth reason you should go see Instant Family is because it’s one of those feel-good movies. Sure, you can expect to laugh quite a bit but with these types of flicks, there are always going to be tear-jerker moments. Not only will those emotions run wild, but you’re locked in for a movie sure to have a few twists and plenty of action most likely in Mark Wahlberg getting put into some Homer Simpson-type dad moments. Watching beginners take on the role of becoming parents to three kids has all the makings of a funny movie. Plus it’s based on a true family, which always brings an extra element of surprise and shock to this genre of movies.
5. The Competition
The fifth reason you should get out to see Instant Family is because it’s going to be a perfect weekend to hit the theater. This movie comes out on the same day Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Widows and Green Book arrive. Needless to say, there is going to be plenty of activity out at the theaters and should make for a really exciting box office weekend.
