Blxst Receives First Platinum Certification for “Chosen” Feat. Ty Dolla $ign and Tyga

Blxst has earned his first RIAA Platinum certification for the hit single “Chosen” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Tyga.

“Chosen,” released by Red Bull Records/Evgle LLC, peaked at #21 on Top 40 radio and at #1 on Rhythmic and Urban radio. The song was one of the biggest hits of the previous year, debuting at #51 on the Billboard Hot 100 and spending 8 weeks at the top of the Billboard Rap Airplay chart. “Chosen” has had over 450 million streams worldwide to date, becoming a worldwide hit and earning certifications from BRIT Silver (UK), Music Canada Platinum, RMNZ Platinum (New Zealand), and ARIA Gold (Australia).

Red Bull Records Set to Impact Hip-Hop, Announces New Signee Kofi

Red Bull is continuing to push the music industry forward with the signing of Kofi to Red Bull Records. Now a member of the roster, Kofi turns toward the release of his EP, The Story of My Life.

“An immensely talented rapper, singer and producer, Kofi is an exciting new addition to our roster,” says Managing Director of Red Bull Records, Greg Hammer. “With an uncompromising sound and ambitious drive, Kofi’s unique blend of hip-hop and R&B have allowed him to build his own lane as an artist. We’re thrilled to be a part of the journey, helping Kofi to reach new heights of success.” 

Senior VP of A&R, Kenny Salcido says, “the A&R team and I could not be more thrilled to welcome Kofi to the growing Red Bull Records roster.”

Warm Brew – “Summertime”

Following up their latest hit, featuring Wiz Khalifa, “Player Way”. Buzzing new West Coast group Warm Brew delivers another hit, perfect timing and title, “Summertime”.

The first single of 2019, the group of Ray Wright, Manu Li, and Serk Spliff provides fans with a laidback West Coast hip-hop track. On “Summertime”, they return to a familiar sound reminiscent of nostalgic hip-hop.

A summer-anthem coined a ‘love song’ by group member Serk, the lyrics of the song explore the beauty of romance during the summer season in Los Angeles. “Player Way” and “Summertime”, Warm Brew is creating a string of hits that will resonate in a huge following on streaming platforms worldwide.

With a huge co-sign in Wiz Khalifa, the trio is also coined “Cali’s Next Big Thing” by fellow West Coast veterans like Dom Kennedy and Buddy.
