Mystikal Held In Louisiana Jail’s General Population Amid Rape Allegations

As previously reported, No Limit Records signee Mystikal was arrested over the weekend in Louisiana for a number of serious alleged crimes, including rape, robbery and domestic abuse. Sources close to the story are now saying that after the 52-year-old was denied a conditional release by the judge, he was placed in general population among the other inmates despite his celebrity status.

“He didn’t show the victim any sympathy, and he won’t get any sympathy or special treatment,” said Donovan Jackson, an Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office representative. “He will be in general population and incarcerated like anyone else.” Mystikal’s attorney, Roy Maughan, said just the opposite. “We’re extremely disappointed that the judge decided he needed to hold Mr. Tyler without bond.” stated the rapper’s lawyer. “For now, all he can do is bid his time until his day in court.”

This isn’t the first time Mystikal was arrested for such a serious crime. Back in 2020, Mystikal had a first degree rape charge dropped from a 2017 accusation and was exonerated on all charges. n 2010, Mystikal was released from a Louisiana prison after serving six years for sexual battery and extortion.

Mystikal Charged With Rape, False Imprisonment, Domestic Abuse, Robbery And Other Charges

According to several confirmed reports, Michael Tyler, who is better known in the rap world as Mystikal from Master P’s No Limit imprint, was arrested and charged with rape, robbery, felony strangulation, false imprisonment and other related charges.

Tyler is currently behind bars at the the Ascension Parish Jail and was booked at the Parish’s Sheriff’s Office yesterday afternoon(July 31). He will be arraigned sometime today(August 1) according to records.

In 2003, Mystikal plead guilty to a sexual battery charge and served six years in prison. He was released in 2010, but was charged with another rape and kidnapping in 2016, but the case was dismissed in 2020 Louisiana’s Caddo Parish District Attorney refused to indict Tyler and dismissed the charges. Mystikal’s alibi was that the woman was there with her boyfriend and later claimed she was raped instead of admitting to being unfaithful. 

“We never want to be a part of any process that has an innocent person tied up in the criminal justice process,” explained Britney Green from Caddo Parish District Attorney’s Office. “I just want to say that there is a distinction between not guilty and innocent, and that also because the case is dismissed or a case is resolved in a fashion other than at trial, that it doesn’t necessarily mean that an incident did not happen.”

K-Pop Star Kris Wu Arrested On Suspicion Of Rape

A report from the Associated Press has confirmed that K-Pop star kris Wu has been arrested on suspicion of rape at the beginning of the month following an allegation by a 19-year-old that he tried to rape her when she was only 17 years old.

According to the claim, Du Meizhu, was 17 years old when she met Wu, who got her drunk before she blacked out and Wu reportedly has sex with her against her will. Wu has lost many endorsements since the allegation from brnds like Porsche, Bvlgari, Kiehl’s and others. Now, Wu can potentially lose years of his life.

The AP report says, “the accusation prompted an outpouring of sympathetic comments online for the teenager and criticism of Wu. The teenager said seven women had contacted her to say Wu, a former member of the Korean boyband EXO, had seduced them with promises of jobs and other opportunities. She said some were under 18 but gave no indication whether any were younger than China’s age of consent of 14.”

The prosecutor’s office of the Beijing district of Chaoyang said in a statement that Kris Wu’s “arrest was formally approved but gave no details of the charges.”

[WATCH] Sabrina Peterson Says She’ll Drop Lawsuit Against T.I. And Tiny If They Apologize Within A Week

Allegations of sexual abuse and rape have been thrown at Hip Hop couple T.I. and Tiny since March, where at least 30 women have accused the celebrity couple of drugging and raping them. 17 women have actually come forward and pressed charges and the woman who set off the stream of accusations is the couple’s former friend Sabrina Peterson.

Back in January, Peterson posted an allegation on IG, claiming that T.I. put a gun to her head. Peterson also publicized several other allegations from alleged victims on IG who claim T.I. and Tiny drugged them and forced or coerced them into sex, which further complicated the situation for the famous duo. Earlier this month, the Los Angeles County Prosecutor’s Office has confirmed that they have officially opened up an investigation into the claims against T.I. and Tiny.

Peterson has now come forth with a video saying that if Clifford and Tameka Harris(T.I. and Tiny) apologize to her per the allegations within seven days, she will immediately drop the lawsuit against the couple.

In light of allegations, VH1 has halted production on the couple’s reality show, T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle. Marvel also dropped T.I. from his role in the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp movie.

Wendy Williams Alleges 80s R&B Singer Sherrick Raped Her

In a shocking revelation before the release of her movie and documentary, famed talk show host Wendy Williams unveils the person who she claimed sexually assaulted her in her 2001 memoir.

Williams’ Lifetime biopic, Wendy Williams: The Movie, and its documentary, Wendy Williams: What A Mess, are now being preceded by the allegation that late R&B singer Sherrick raped Williams when she was a radio DJ.

“His name was Sherrick [and] he was a one-hit wonder, remember the song. It was called ‘Just Call’ and it was number one on the R&B charts and an overnight sensation,” Williams said of her alleged rapist. “He was in D.C. I was a cute radio DJ. He’d asked me did I want to accompany him to his album release celebration in D.C. and I said ‘yes.’ I got off the air and went back to his hotel room with him. He said he wanted to shower and freshen up and introduced cocaine to the scene. I was already familiar with cocaine so I was continuing to party while he was in the shower. And I was sitting on the bed minding my own business.”

Willaims continued, “I’ll never forget his name. And you know, and now that I’ve said it, and I’m still on TV, now his kids and their kids and their kids are gonna have to deal with that. I was raped by Sherrick.”

Sherrick battled substance abuse for most of his career following his one hit “Just Call” which made it to the Top 10 on the Billboard R&B singles chart. He passed away in 1999 at age 41 from unknown causes.

In a recent Red Table Talk interview, supermodel Amber Rose revealed that one of her former long time boyfriends had sex with her without her consent.

In the interview, Rose says that even though she and her former beau had sex “plenty of times” before the incident in question, but according to her, when she told him she was leaving him, he allegedly ripped off all her clothes and forced himself on her.

Rose was not specific about who the boyfriend was, other than the fact that they had been together for two years.

Harvey Weinstein Accused of Raping 17-Year-Old Girl in New Lawsuit

Harvey Weinstein was recently sentenced to 23 years in prison for sexual assault against former employees and other women that he’s either worked with or was in his circle. Now today four Jane Doe’s are currently suing him.

It was a big moment in the #MeToo movement that he was brought to trial and convicted. The Hollywood executive was accused by numerous women in the entertainment industry and now more women are feeling courageous and speaking up.

According to Vulture, one of the women was “approximately seventeen years old” when she was sexually abused by Weinstein. Jane Doe who is now 43, states that when she was seventeen, Weinstein falsely imprisoned, sexually assaulted, sexually battered, and raped her.

Through the sexual assault lawsuit, all four women have chosen to remain anonymous most likely to keep their names out of the tabloids and to protect themselves, family, and loved ones.

Another Jane Doe shares that she was just getting into the entertainment business when a friend suggested that she meet up with Weinstein. Days passed, Harvey picked the girl up and took her to his hotel and this is where she found the producer damn near naked. The anonymous woman claimed it was a business meeting in the lawsuit, but she had to keep her cool because she had no way to get home.

During the brief conversation between the two, the plaintiff states that Weinstein demanded her to perform oral sex on him for a job opportunity. He backed the lady in the corner and forced her to remove her clothes. Once he was stimulated, Harvey proceeded to rape her until he ejaculated.

According to the claim, Weinstein’s brother, Robert Weinstein, knew about what was going on but failed to report any of the crimes that were going on. Robert’s lawyer issued a statement saying that Robert is not supposed to be responsible for his brother’s actions and should not be held accountable.

Rapper C-Rayz Walz Indicted For Rape And Sodomy, Also Stole A Man’s Chain, Allegedly

Things are not looking good for C-Rayz Walz. The charges have been revealed on his rape case and the details are frightening.

As reported on Wednesday, March 18, the Bronx rapper has been in a holding facility since early December 2019. According to the New York City Department of Corrections he was arrested for felony rape. Upon review of the formal indictment the man born Waleed Shabazz faces a total of 32 charges—including robbery, assault, grand larceny and stalking.

 

The details of the charges are where things get grisly. Per the indictment, on November 26, C-Rayz Walz, born Waleed Shabazz, allegedly kidnapped a woman, raping and sodomizing her. For the 18th count, he is accused of strangling the victim until she lost consciousness. He also is accused of sexually assaulting the unidentified woman via forceful sexual penetration of her vagina and anus.

Other charges include C-Rayz Walz, along with an accomplice, stomping a robbery victim out with his Timberlands, which is noted in the indictment, after stealing his chain.

The documentation states that he will be arraigned on the following counts:

C-Rayz’s management has not commented on the specifics of his case.

“At this current time, C-Rayz Walz can’t discuss or comment on this allegation” C-Rayz’s manager Rebs K.P. told HipHopDX. “What I can say is that I have known C-Rayz Walz as both his manager and closest friend for six years. I have seen him devote the majority of his time to take care and provide for his son.”

C-Rayz Walz is due back in court on April 15.

NYC Underground Hip-Hop Rapper C-Rayz Walz Arrested For Rape

One of the most respected lyricists in the New York underground Hip-Hop scene has been arrested. C-Rayz Walz is now behind bars for rape.

HipHopDX is reporting that the MC is currently locked down at The Vernon C. Bain Correctional Center in the Bronx. Nicknamed “The Boat,” the facility is an 800-bed jail barge used to hold inmates. The barge is anchored off the Bronx’s southern shore, near Hunts Point. According to the New York City Department of Corrections he was arrested on December 13, 2019 for felony rape charges.

The specific penal law he allegedly broke is listed as 130.35 FB which indicates that any of the following scenarios could have occurred:

  1. A person has sexual intercourse with a child who is younger than 11 years of age;
  2. A person who is at least 18 years of age has sexual intercourse with a child who is younger than 13 years of age.
  3. A person has sexual intercourse with another person by forceful coercion;
  4. A person has sexual intercourse with another person who is helpless physically;

Born Waleed Shabazz, the Bronx native created a name for himself for his innate ability to freestyle. He would later secure a recording contract with Def Jux Records where he released his 2003 album Ravipops (The Substance). His talents would land him  on several seminal underground releases including EL-P’s Fantastic Damage and Cannibal Ox’s The Cold Vein. Walz would go on to release several projects hereafter on his own independent label SunCycle Entertainment.

As per the inmate lookup service C-Rayz is a defendant on remand thus he will have to sit until his trial which is set for April 15.

Victims of Harvey Weinstein are finally seeing justice after a jury convicted the disgraced film mogul on charges of rape and sexual assault.

According to the New York Times, on Monday (Feb. 24) after being accused by more than 80 women, Weinstein, 67, was ordered to go directly to jail and faces a sentence of five to 25 years on the first count. Weinstein was acquitted on the two most serious charges against him of predatory sexual assault, but was convicted on the lesser charge of sexual assault and rape in the third degree which carries a minimum sentence of two years and a maximum of five years.

The charge is defined in the New York state penal code as having “sexual intercourse with another person who is incapable of consent” — either because they are too young to consent or for another reason.

The long-awaited verdict drew a strong reaction from a number of celebrities, including former Rent star Anthony Rapp, who wrote, “I applaud the women who bravely stepped forward to help forever alter the conversation around what they — and all of us — have to put up with.” Also weighing in was actress and activist Ashley Judd, who added, “for the women who testified in this case, and walked through traumatic hell, you did a public service to girls and women everywhere, thank you.”

Weinstein was remanded into custody against the protests of his lawyers, who cited his health. He looked ashen and unstable as he was surrounded by court officers who helped escort him out of the court room.

Speaking after the verdict, Weinstein’s top lawyer Donna Rotunno told reporters it was a “bittersweet day” and that Weinstein’s team will “absolutely be appealing” the verdict.
“We are disappointed. We knew we came in and we were down 35-0 on the day that we started this trial,” Rotunno said. “The jurors came in knowing everything they could know about this case. We couldn’t find a juror who had never heard of Harvey Weinstein. The fight is not over.”

The verdict serves somewhat as a triumphant end to a lengthy, highly charged and emotional trial that began on Jan. 6 and included the testimony of six women who said — under oath — that Weinstein had sexually assaulted them over the last three decades.

Weinstein, who is currently facing five to 25 years for the criminal sexual assault conviction and 18 months to four years for the third-degree rape conviction, is scheduled to be sentenced on March 11 before heading to Los Angeles County to face additional charges.
