Vevo, the world’s leading music video network, announces Juvenile and Mannie Fresh as the next artists in their Ctrl series with a performance of “Back That Azz Up” and “Party” premiering today.

Vevo’s Ctrl series highlights the work of hard-hitting, cutting-edge musicians making an impact in today’s music scene – both emerging and established. These artists demand attention, and Vevo’s Ctrl shines a deserving spotlight. Juvenile and Mannie Fresh’s performances follow sessions from Rick Ross, Common, Rapsody, Fat Joe, Jeezy, Jadakiss, Fabolous, A$AP Ferg and more.

New Orleans rapper Juvenile is a Southern hip-hop veteran. Born Terius Gray, Juvenile was one of the initial figures involved in New Orleans’ “bounce” craze of the early ’90s, an uptempo style of hip-hop that combined gangster rap and party music. In 1997, Juvenile joined Cash Money, releasing his album Solja Rags that same year, as well as joining fellow Cash Money artists Lil Wayne, B.G., and Turk in the Hot Boys, who also released their debut album, Get It How U Live!. Both debuts were produced in total by Mannie Fresh, who was back for Juvenile’s 1998 solo release 400 Degreez, his platinum-selling, breakthrough effort thanks in part to the successful single “Back That Azz Up”.

In 1998, Mannie Fresh, half of the brains behind the Cash Money label, formed Big Tymers with Birdman, releasing a series of successful singles and albums. In 2004, Mannie busted out on his own with The Mind of Mannie Fresh, before returning to produce several tracks on Juvenile’s album Rejuvenation in 2012.

The two Cash Money heavyweights now reunite to perform their iconic hit, “Back That Azz Up” and “Party” for Vevo’s Original Content series, Ctrl.

Cops Put Kibosh On Diddy’s Birthday House Party

Sean “Diddy” Combs just turned the Big 49, and he’s partying hard as expected as he approaches the fifty piece milestone. After an epic weekend of skydiving and a club party, Diddy invited guests to his Los Angeles home for more wild times but the cops put a stop the fun in the wee hours of Monday morning.

TMZ reports:

Before throwing an epic rager, Diddy had another party for his 49th bday at Ysabel in West Hollywood … where he celebrated with LeBron James, Usher, Wiz Khalifa, Kodak Black and tons of other celebs.

Check out the vid … Kodak tries to pull a fast one and sneak a drink out of the club, but he gets caught red-handed.

Seems the after-party spilled over to Diddy’s and, as you can image, it was the place to be … we’re told there were about 50 cars parked outside his home, and about 200 people inside in full party mode.

Things went pretty smoothly once cops showed up … police told security to shut it down or they would have to enter and disperse the crowd, and the guards obliged.

We thought he told you that he won’t stop.

Happy Birthday, Diddy!

Watch: Students Fall Through The Floor As Ground Caves In At Homecoming Party

Clemson University students were minding their business at a homecoming party this past weekend when the unthinkable happened. As they were partying, the floor collapsed.

One student says the floor felt like a “trampoline” just before it caved in. Another, Jeremy Tester, told CNN, “You could hear the floor about to go through, kind of, but nobody thought it was going to happen. They just kept going.”

According to the site at least 30 people were injured and taken to local hospitals for broken bones and lacerations. Clemson University President Jim Clements released a statement saying, “The University will continue to do everything it can to help and support our students who were affected by this terrible situation, as well as their families and friends.” Professors were also instructed to be flexible with attendance when considering those students who were involved.
