Love has got to be in the air of Hip-Hop culture.
While the anticipation for Drake’s Certified Lover Boy album is in high demand, fans can also gear up for Diddy’s new project Off The Grid Vol. 1.
Based on what the Harlem music icon said in a tweet, this project, which is set for the Fall season, will also be a love-inspired body of work.
On Wednesday (July 21), Diddy said on Twitter, “OFF THE GRID. The Album. September 24, 2021. Welcome to the LOVE ERA!”
Fans got a hint that the CEO of Bad Boy Records was cooking something up last week when Billboard reported his hiring of Wassim “Sal” Slaiby, who manages The Weeknd and Doja Cat. Slaiby also manages Ty Dolla $ign, French Montana.
Off The Grid Vol. 1 will be Puffy’s first music project n 2015 with the release of his mixtape MMM (Money Making Mitch). However, this is his first studio album since he released Press Play in 2006.
Who knows how Diddy is planning to present this album to his fans, but if we know P. Diddy, he’s going to do it in a major way.
Off The Grid Vol. 1, September 24, be ready for the love vibes.
