Just in time for the holiday season, Madame Tussauds New York has unveiled a stunning new wax figure of Mariah Carey, the legendary “Queen of Christmas” and top-selling female artist. The new figure’s debut comes as Carey kicks off her highly-anticipated Christmas Time Tour, making this moment even more magical for fans.

The figure captures Carey’s iconic holiday spirit with a glistening red sequined gown inspired by Marilyn Monroe, echoing her glamorous look from her Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Apple TV+ special. In a personal touch from Carey herself, the wax figure is framed by a giant wreath adorned with lights and life-sized nutcrackers featuring Jack Russell Terrier designs as a nod to Carey’s love for her canine companions.

Crafted over nine months, the figure was meticulously sculpted by 20 artists who worked to perfect every detail, from her signature curls to her radiant smile. “It’s surreal! I never would have believed how lifelike my wax figure would be,” said Carey. “The whole room is a complete transformation into Christmastime. It feels like the perfect home for my wax figure!”

The new Mariah Carey figure reigns in the “Seasons of New York City” area, a newly expanded section of Madame Tussauds celebrating NYC’s four seasons. Here, guests can stroll through a snowy winter wonderland, pose with Timothée Chalamet in autumn, or even enjoy springtime under cherry blossoms with Selena Gomez. This immersive area is part of a multimillion-dollar renovation, enhancing the museum’s interactive offerings.

Jack Harlow Receives First Wax Figure at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas

Louisville-born rapper Jack Harlow has joined the ranks of entertainment’s brightest stars with the unveiling of his first-ever wax figure at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, the world’s renowned wax museum. Harlow’s figure, clad in a custom-designed suit from his music video “Churchill Downs (feat. Drake),” pays homage to his Kentucky roots. The ivory-colored suit, created by Musika New York and designer Aleks Musika, was prominently featured in the video filmed during the 2022 Kentucky Derby. To further represent his hometown, Harlow’s figure’s hands are adorned with a crystallized necklace featuring a pendant shaped like the state of Kentucky.

The unveiling of Harlow’s wax figure was celebrated over the weekend when close family and friends joined him. Later that night, Harlow took the stage at Zouk Nightclub to further commemorate the occasion.

“Jack Harlow’s new figure is a perfect addition to our museum,” said Marketing Manager for Madame Tussauds Las Vegas Linsey Stiglic. “His confidence, humor, and of course, music is admired by all and we’re so thrilled to welcome him to our Las Vegas attraction.” 

Madame Tussauds’ commitment to providing unique access to A-list celebrities resulted in the creation of this remarkable wax figure. It took approximately six months for a dedicated team of 20 studio artists in London to bring Harlow’s figure to life. Lil Nas X Reveals New Wax Figure at Madame Tussauds Hollywood

Lil Nas X has unveiled his wax replica for Madame Tussauds Hollywood, the world’s largest wax museum. He presented his wax replica in a priceless side-by-side exchange. A duplicate of the iconic gold Versace suit armor that the striking figure wore to the 2021 Met Gala is being worn by the figure. The Versace choker, earrings, and nail art from the custom outfit were all meticulously recreated by Madame Tussauds artists. Lil Nas X is the first wax figure to feature a grill, to say nothing of that.

Lil Nas X has established himself as a leader in the music industry by expressing himself bravely and fearlessly in his songs and online. The two-time Grammy winner, only 23 years old, has many accomplishments, including being the first openly homosexual rapper to be nominated in major Grammy categories. He embarked on his first-ever world tour in 2021 after releasing his critically praised debut album MONTERO.

“Are we twins or what? I knew this was going to be good but this is like, scary amazing,” said Lil Nas X.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Lil Nas X into the Madame Tussauds Hollywood family. As a musical, social and fashion icon, this figure marks an extraordinary addition to our museum. Fans of Lil Nas X will be thrilled to learn that the musician will also release “STAR WALKIN’” this Friday, September 23, a song written in partnership with Riot Games that will serve as the theme song for the League of Legends 2022 Worlds Tournament.

Madame Tussauds Unveils An Insanely Accurate Beyoncé Wax Figure

Madame Tussauds has been its game lately when it comes to its iconic wax figures. Late last month the world-renowned wax museum unveiled a picture-perfect Aaliyah wax statue. Now the Madame Tussauds has the internet buzzing with its new Beyoncé statue.

Based off King Bey’s legendary Coachella performance, the wax figure is a drastic improvement from Madame Tussaud’s previous wax versions of the “Lemonade” singer. The statue nails every detail precisely down to her eyebrows, hair, BAK sweater, short shorts, and fringe boots.

Once photos of the wax figure hit social media, the Beyhive, casual fans, and even Beyoncé’s mama, Tina Lawson shared their approval.

They got this one right!!! I Love this wax statue of Beyonce’! It’s right on the button, even the legs,”

This statue isn’t the first time Madame Tussauds has tried to replicate Beyoncé using wax. The museum failed miserably in three other attempts that were immediately clowned by the hive and understandably so. This latest piece of art is the first in a pair of Beyoncé statues that will appear at other locations. The next Bey wax figure will be making its debut in October.

Madame Tussauds announced earlier in the month that it was immortalizing Aaliyah in wax after fans pushed the for the idea by starting several petitions. Yesterday (August 21) the world-famous wax museum Las Vegas location unveiled the life-like statue of the late singer, and it should make devotees extremely happy.

Madame Tussauds won’t have to try again (see what we did there) when it comes to their latest wax figure. With the help of Aaliyah’s brother Rashad Haughton, they accurately memorialized the iconic singer/actress. In a Vibe exclusive, Tussauds Las Vegas Studio Manager, Adam Morery — who designed the set — revealed that talks of making an Aaliyah figure began a year and a half ago.

“This set, rather than being a recreation of any one particular Aaliyah moment, was instead designed with a message to her fans in mind,” he says. “It’s a message that hopefully reflects her everlasting legacy.”

The figure itself looks like it was plucked right out of Aaliyah’s visual for her 2000 hit record “Try Again.”The statue is dressed in her signature leather pants paired with the metallic bra and choker that fans of the singer loved. Till this day, the look is a popular Halloween costume among celebs including Zendaya, Kim Kardashian (who was dragged) and Keke Palmer.

Morery further clarified why they chose to go with the “Try Again” look in an email response to the Vibe:

“It was clear right away it would be the ‘Try Again’ look for our Aaliyah figure. The look has the sexy, edgy, timeless vibe we try to imbue in the Las Vegas attraction within all our creative choices. Mining popular culture as only Madame Tussauds can, our desire to honor Aaliyah and the look in this way was only confirmed as we see today’s Hollywood stars like KeKe Palmer, Kim Kardashian, Zendaya, also paying homage by recreating their own favorite moments of the Princess of R&B.”

Morery also explained that Aaliyah’s brother was one of the “critical voices”  in making sure the statue was as accurate as possible even down to the tattoos. Haughton was instrumental in giving the sculptors, painters, and stylists “unprecedented access.” In an email statement, he spoke in detail on his involvement:

“I was involved in the process from the inception of the project. The team at Madame Tussauds welcomed a collaborative effort in choosing the pose and look of my sister’s figure. They made sure my mother and I were comfortable and supported through an amazing but understandably emotional process.”

“One thing we made sure to include was all of my sister’s tattoos. They are all quite hidden because my sister chose strategic places for them due to her on-camera film work. We know how devout and knowledgeable her fans are and the great artists at Madame Tussauds have no limitations to their abilities when it comes to detail.”

It’s a fitting tribute for the singer affectionately called Baby Girl by her fans.

Aaliyah Will Be Receiving a Wax Figure at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas

This month is usually a somber time for fans of R&B icon Aaliyah, as it marks the anniversary of her untimely death on August 25, 2001 at the age of 22. However, Baby Girl’s estate is hoping to make the occasion feel more special than ever before by announcing that a new wax figure for the multiplatinum award-winning singer/actress will be unveiled at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas.



Announced officially by her memorial social media accounts (seen above) and her brother Rashad Haughton (@radmax6), the wax sculpture has been highly-requested by fans of the “One in a Million” hitmaker for years now via online petitions, and now it finally will come to fruition.

As stated above by the @aaliyah_haughton_official Instagram account, superfans will have a chance to win a chance to attend the VIP launch party in Vegas by showing off their best Aaliyah looks. No word yet on what outfit the official Aaliyah wax figure itself will adorn, but the photo used in the announcement alludes to a look from her 1997 performance for TNT Presents “A Gift of Song.” While it was certainly a memorable night in her career — she even performed onstage alongside fellow pop diva Celine Dion — other looks, like ones from the “Try Again” music video, 2000 MTV Video Music Awards or her final all-white steez in the “Rock the Boat” music video, might be better choices overall. Either way, we can’t wait for the big reveal!

Drake’s lucrative residency in Las Vegas must be going pretty well! It now looks like the infamous party city is honoring their new rap resident with a wax figure at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas inspired by his worldwide smash “Hotline Bling.”



Officially open for public visits, the statue is designed after the music video that became a viral sensation for pretty much all of summer 2015. The details are beyond accurate, all the way down to his OVO-branded sweatsuit and the “Wheat” Timberland boots. The figure will also stand in front of a backdrop duplicated to look like the video’s neon-themed setting, which was infamously influenced by the work of James Turrell.

The months it took to create a dripped-out Drizzy really paid off, which includes everything from data collecting for the most accurate detailing to the tedious task of creating individual human hair follicles for eyebrows and hairlines. Looking sharp!

Diddy’s Wax Statue At Madame Tussauds Was Decapitated

It seems someone in New York City has a serious drudge with Diddy. His replica at a Times Square museum was defaced; literally.

According to The Daily News an unidentified male took issue with Brother Love’s wax figurine at the Madame Tussauds on Saturday, February 16. The perpetrator reportedly knocked the statue over around 8:45PM. Once on the ground he proceed to trample it until the head was severed off.

Combs was in attendance when the replica was originally unveiled in December 2009 in midtown Manhattan. It is said that he was very critical on the construction asking that his personal groomer “Curtis The Barber” personally style the hair of the figurine. As of this weekend Diddy has yet to comment on the random act of vandalism. New York police authorities say that the reasoning for the attack is still not clear and no arrests have been made.
