Ahead of her debut Coachella performance, Jamaican artist Shenseea has dropped a surprise “Locked Up” freestyle. The freestyle video is the first from the We Good production company.

The freestyle and forthcoming Coachella appearance from Shenseea is on the heels of her Rolling Loud LA set and headlining a show at the Kings Theater in Brooklyn, NY. Last year, Shenseea released her highly anticipated debut album, Alpha, which debuted at #2 on Billboard’s Reggae Album chart and featured Megan Thee Stallion, 21 Savage, Offset, and more.

By now, its no secret that Akon has been working in the studio with Tekashi 69 aka Hip Hop’s most hated artist.

Tory Lanez took to his Instagram to share his disbelief on Akon’s apparent choice to move forward with 69 on a remix for his hit single, “Locked Up” and not him.

“So what y’all telling me is …. Akon gave the #LockedUpRemix / SAMPLE to someone else !?!?? And not me?!???? …… I’m going back to bed man,” the “Jerry Sprunger” singer joked on Twitter.

The tweet sparked a back and forth between himself and Pretty Ricky star, Spectacular, that ended in Tory posting the receipts!

Fans that were outraged that Akon would even work with 69, took their concerns to Styles P who instead, encouraged fans to boost their immune system. “I honestly don’t give a fux the fact that this is even a topic 2 discuss with all the racial tension n plandemic/ pandemic makes me want to focus in harder on reminding y’all 2 stay golden n boost the immune!” he wrote.

Well, Akon seems to hold no hostility as he finally responded to Tory Lanez’s original comment on the song. “Hahaha!!! LMAO. I need you to get out of bed for part 3,” Akon tweeted.

A “Locked Up” Remix Part 2 and Part 3 with Tekashi 69 and Tory Lanez? That would be interesting, which remix are you anticipating?
