Kylie Jenner wants people to put some respect on her name because she agrees with Forbes that she is self-made.
The reality star was dubbed the “youngest self-made billionaire” thanks to the success of her Kylie Cosmetics empire. She opened up to the German edition of Interview Magazine and says she’s “very proud” of her success. “There’s really no other word to use other than self-made because that is the truth,” Jenner said in an interview published Thursday.” That is the category that I fall under.”
She did note that her popularity before launching her beauty line helped her out a lot but insists that she didn’t receive any financial support from her famous parents. “[I] am a special case because before I started Kylie Cosmetics, I had a huge platform and lots of fans.”
“I did not get money from my parents past the age of 15,” Kylie said. “I used 100 percent of my own money to start the company, not a dime in my bank account is inherited and I am very proud of that.”
