Eminem hit Mike Tyson’s Hot Boxin’ podcast and it instantly became a conversation that you must hear.
For those unfamiliar, Mike Tyson grabs your favorite celebrities and have conversations that dig deep into various subjects within a studio full of smoke.
After Slim Shady got his stanning out for being at the table with Iron Mike, the two tackled strong subjects including rap music and the late proof.
Eminem broke down how he views Hip-Hop, revealing that he puts in constant effort to stay in shape on the mic.
“For me, rap is like a 24-7 job, and it takes a lot of dedication to stay sharp with the pen,” Eminem said. “It’s a different kind of discipline to [fight]. And the balls to get in the ring and fight in the first place.”
The conversation would shift to Proof, with Em revealing the late rapper was a strong element of his confidence.
“He was a Godsend to me because I know that I would not have made it without knowing him.”
The conversation would continue with Tyson letting the Music to Be Murdered By rapper know that “he knows what it’s like to be a n***a,” because he worked to get to his spot. Lord Jamar won’t like that.
“Everything you got was, fuckin’, not even given to you,” Tyson would tell the rapper.
Em would not cosign the statement, however, shifting to “Not sure how to answer that” and “we all got our story.”
