R. Kelly was still trying to post his $100K bail Monday afternoon, which is actually only ten percent of his $1 million bond, but the Associated Press reported that “coordinating the payment is complicated.”
The disgraced singer’s financial circumstances put him at an extreme disadvantage at what’s probably the most challenging point of his colorful career; the lawyer fees for his ten child sexual assault charges, child support issues and overdue rent have left Kells’ supporters no other choice except to launch crowdfunding accounts to help get the “Pied Piper” from behind bars.
R. Kelly has been in Cook County Jail since Friday night while over a dozen GoFundMe pages were opened in hopes of freeing the 52 year old legendary singer.
Dear @GoFundMe,
Please REMOVE all campaigns raising funds for R. Kelly an abusive, pedophile & rapist. It violates your company’s terms:

“This is someone who should be wealthy,”
Kelly’s attorney Steve Greenberg said Saturday, attributing his current financial situation to bad contracts and mismanagement of money.
