Blue Ivy Carter Receives Sweet 10th Birthday Message from Grandmother Tina Lawson on Instagram

Can you believe that Blue Ivy Carter is 10 years old? The superstar daughter of JAY-Z and Beyonce received a special birthday message from her grandmother, Tina Lawson, on Instagram.

“My beautiful talented and super smart Grandaughter Blue Ivy turned 10 today!” wrote Knowles-Lawson alongside a photo of her with Blue. “God it seemed like yesterday you came into the world running things. Blue is my little Capricorn Twin. I prayed for her to be born on my birthday but she did what she always does she came when she got good and ready three days later but we still share the bond.”

She added, “She reminds me that ‘Grandma you are acting just like a Capricorn.’ Blue gives the best advice like a grown person I sometimes forget that she is so young!!! Blue is one of those rare gifted people that can do everything well! God Blessed me the day you were born! My Sweet, Beautiful Baby Blue Happy Birthday.”

Tina Lawson recently announced her new Facebook Watch series, Talks with Mama Tina. The first season will feature Kevin Hart, Chloe x Halle, Kelly Rowland, Zendaya, Ciara, and Tiffany Haddish. The new show’s theme features vocals from Beyoncé and her children.

“I’m so excited to announce the launch of my new @wetheculture @Facebookwatch show ‘Talks With Mama Tina,’ where I’ve invited some of my favorite people over to my home and have a talk with me,” Lawson wrote. “I loved filming this show and sitting down with so many amazing people because we got to have such honest heartfelt conversations and I got to make them my famous GUMBO! Be sure to tune in starting on THIS Wednesday 12/23 at 5 pm PCT to view.”

She added, “Thank you to my baby @beyonce and my beautiful grand babies for making this special theme song for the show. Are you guys ready to watch?

Beyoncé’s mum, Ms Tina Lawson’s, new show "Talks with Mama Tina" will air on Facebook starting Wednesday Dec 22.

Guests include @ChloeBailey @HalleBailey @Ciara @KELLYROWLAND & more!

The theme song is also sung by Beyoncé and her kids.

Willow Smith States She Felt ‘Shunned’ by the African-American Community

Will Smith and his family are like modern-day Huxtables. A family with ups and downs but all-around a strong representation of a loving black family. Willow Smith, 19, spoke out on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Facebook series, Red Table Talk about how the black community made her feel while growing up for not looking a certain way.

“Specifically with the African American community, I felt like me and Jaden were shunned a little bit,” she begins. “Like, ‘We’re not going to take pride in them because they’re too different, they’re too weird.’… Even some of our family members, I would feel they thought we’re too different.”

Jada then went on to express how people shamed her for Jaden a little more than they did for Willow. “I think as Jaden got older when he did the Luis Vuitton, and he was wearing a skirt– he isn’t what people consider your typical black man. Which is like, what is that supposed to mean?” said Jada.

Jada Pinkett-Smith’s ‘Red Table Talk’ Renewed Through 2022, Latin Spinoff Series in Development

Not only did Jada Pinkett-Smith’s Facebook Watch series, Red Table Talk, get renewed through 2022, but there’s also a Latin spinoff series in the works.

The new series, Red Table Talk: The Estefans, will be centered around Miami-based music legend, Gloria Estefan, her daughter Emily Estefan and her niece Lili Estefan.

The show which is executive produced by Jada and Gloria, aims to bring, “the Red Table to Miami for a new series of candid conversations about today’s most timely, social and personal issues with family, celebrity guests, and experts.”

“I’m incredibly proud of Red Table Talk and thrilled to build upon this franchise with my family and with Gloria, Emily, and Lili,” said Pinkett Smith in a statement obtained by the outlet.

“Red Table Talk has created a space to have open, honest and healing conversations around social and topical issues, and what’s most powerful for me is hearing people’s stories and engaging with our fans in such a tangible way on the Facebook Watch platform. I’m excited to see the Estefans put their spin on the franchise and take it to new places.”

“I’m incredibly excited to carry the Red Table Talk torch with my family in Miami,” Estefan said in her own statement. “Jada and I have spoken about this a lot and feel my daughter, niece and I can tackle issues important to us and our fans with a new and fresh voice. Jada has done this incredibly and continues to do [it] with her family in their candid, intimate, and groundbreaking conversations at the iconic Red Table.”
