Kevin Hart Reveals That His Talk With His Teen Daughter Following Cheating Scandal Was ‘One Like No Other’

Kevin Hart Reveals That His Talk With His Teen Daughter Following Cheating Scandal Was One Like No Other

Kevin Hart owed his teenage daughter, Heaven, an explanation following his public cheating scandal.

The comedian joined Will Smith on Red Table Talk for a special Father’s Day episode of the Facebook Watch series on Sunday, June 20th.

The father of four opened up about the conversation he had with his now-16-year-old daughter, after the world discovered that he was cheating on his then-pregnant wife, Eniko Hart, after claiming to be faithful on The Breakfast Club in 2017.

“You know, when me and my wife [Eniko] went through what we went through and the whole cheating display, my talk with Heaven—goddamn,” Kevin said. “That was one like no other.”

He continued, “Getting my daughter back, getting my daughter to understand that I was sorry, that I made a mistake—that was real. To understand, like, I’m still Dad. You’re reading stuff. This is a child, right? Every child has the Internet. There’s nothing that you’re gonna come across that you’re gonna read that isn’t gonna have an impression. A child? Everything has a meaning.”

Hart added, “My daughter was tough on me! Until this day, my daughter is tough on me. My daughter don’t play no games with her father, man.”

In September 2017, Kevin publicly apologized to Eniko for his “bad error in judgment” and added, “Sending so many apologies to my wife & kids. I gotta do better and I will.”

During the Red Table Talk episode, Kevin Hart shared that he also spoke to his daughter about his resurfaced homophobic tweets which led him to step down from hosting the 2019 Oscars ceremony.

“When the whole thing started to happen with the LGBTQ+ community and the misconception of me, and what I was, and what I am, and what I feel, my daughter was so upset because she couldn’t process how people could think this about her father,” the Ride Along performer explained. “And it was so tough because this is when I started to realize how my fame has an impact on my household, right? There’s a certain level of obliviousness.”

Lawyer Michael Avenatti Found Guilty of Attempting to Extort $25 Million from Nike

Lawyer Michael Avenatti was found guilty on all three charges for attempting to extort up to $25 million from Nike. This comes two years after he gained widespread attention for representing Stormy Daniels in her legal disputes with Donald Trump.

Avenatti was accused of threatening to “shakedown” the sportswear giant by revealing evidence that Nike had bribed amateur basketball players. He threatened to go public with the evidence unless Nike paid him millions of dollars. Prosecutors say that the extortion scheme was a way to pay off the $11 million in debt that Avenatti had landed himself in. He’s currently facing 20 years behind bars, but it is very unlikely that he will serve the full stint.

“I’m not fucking around with this, and I’m not continuing to play games,” Avenatti told Nike’s lawyers last March before he was arrested. “You guys know enough now to know you’ve got a serious problem. And it’s worth more in exposure to me to just blow the lid on this thing. A few million dollars doesn’t move the needle for me.”

Avenatti is also facing other pending federal criminal cases concerning the theft of millions of dollars from other clients. He allegedly scammed Stormy Daniels out of $300,000 in revenue for a book she released and is accused of defrauding clients out of millions, perjury, and tax fraud.

He is set to be sentenced on June 17.

Lawyer Opposing R. Kelly Charged With Extortion Against Nike

Michael Avenatti has been charged with extortion, bank fraud, and tax fraud. As the lead litigator in R.Kelly’s sex abuse case, does Avenatti’s arrest bring a dark cloud over Kelly’s case?

R. Kelly’s other attorney, Steve Greenberg, detailed Avenatti has been charged with extortion, bank and tax fraud, which will severely impede his credibility in Kelly’s 10-count sex abuse case. He allegedly tried to extort $20 million from the sporting brand Nike.

The main issue at hand is the sex tape of Kelly allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old girl. Greenberg says the “chain of custody”, which is how prosecutors obtained the sex tape in the first place, is questionable is could’ve been altered.

It’s rumored that the person who gave the tape to Avenatti has a history of extorting Kelly and has allegedly squeezed at least one million dollars out of the singer, according to his own admittance to prosecutors.

Avenatti was released from custody in New York after posting a $300K bond.

Lauryn Hill’s Cousin Found Guilty Of Finessing Her Out Of $65K

Source: Photo: WENN.com

In recent years Lauryn Hill has taken loss after loss—mostly due to her own mistakes. This time one of her family members was caught being messy.

Back in July, the Grammy winner sued her cousin Gerald Hill with claims that she fronted him $65,000.00 dollars. According to the contract that both parties signed he promised to pay the money back within 90 days. He also agreed that if he did happen to miss the three month deadline he would also pay 10% interest. Almost a year later L-Boogie has still not received her coin.

Bossip exclusively reports that Lauryn’s cousin was found guilty of defaulting on the loan. It seems Gerald failed to formally respond to the original complaint forcing the court to take action. A judge has now ruled he will have to pay L-Boogie every cent back plus monetary damages. Lauryn’s lawyer has declined to comment.

This legal victory is presumed to be a breath of fresh air for the “Doo Wop” singer as she has some explaining to do herself. A portion of her recent “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 20th Anniversary World Tour” has been postponed due to production issues and unfavorable fan reviews. More recently she was hit with a lawsuit by American Express. The merchant claims she rang up a tab of almost $375,000 dollars in credit card debt.

Let’s hope things continue to turn around for her.

Drake Sues Woman Who Allegedly Made Rape & Pregnancy Claims

Drake has been linked with baddie after baddie, one of the so-called perks of his fame but it hasn’t always worked out well with those among the throng chasing clout and cash. The Canadian superstar is now embroiled in a legal battle with a woman who allegedly accused the rapper of rape and getting her pregnant, with Drizzy launching a lawsuit claiming she tried to extort him for millions.

TMZ reports:

Drake claims in the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, he met Layla Lace last year during his Boy Meets World Tour in Manchester, England. He says after one of his concerts in February 2017, they hooked up at his hotel where he says they had consensual sex and “Layla also voluntarily and seemingly happily performed oral sex…”

In the lawsuit, filed by celeb lawyer Larry Stein, Drake says Layla went ballistic when he sent her home rather than taking her on tour with him.

The lawsuit contains a number of text messages Layla sent Drake in the following weeks, saying how much she missed him and so on. Drake says she created a “fantasy relationship” with him and, at a point, didn’t have the “time or energy to respond” and he says that set her off.

Lace took her claims of being pregnant public last year, including appearing on Shade 45. Drake’s side said Lace refused a paternity test but added that she went to New York authorities to claim she was raped in a one-night stand. Authorities in Manchester cleared Drake of the charges but the suit alleges Lace began demanding millions in exchange for silence.

Lace is facing charges of civil extortion, emotional distress, fraud, defamation, and abuse of process in the lawsuit.
