Where’s the East Coast hip-hop lovers at? dUECE bUG is out here representing for Connecticut. He may be new to the UGHH blog, but his talent should be applauded. This dude is an MC and Drummer (which reminds me of Anderson .Paak) and has dropped a new single from his 5th album, Melting Pot.
“Time I’m On” finds dUECE bUG spitting witty bars, infusing live drums, and alternative punk vibes into a head-banger. The interesting bars that caught my ear were: “Golden rhymes schemes / flow is tight mean / shutting down bars like COVID-19”
The official music video is directed by James Joyce “The Squatch”. The video includes footage of dUECE on the drums and spitting bars from the studio inside Hat City Music Productions. The clock sculptures are created by Connecticut graffiti artist Michael J. Clocks, and are crafted from recycled electronics, metals, random trinkets/adornments and paint.
Feel free to check out the video above and add the track to your Spotify playlist – let us know what you think in the comments, should add more blog posts about dUECE bUG?
