Following the return to social media of the Chicago rapper, CupcakKe
seems to be ending the year off in a better place than where she was just a few
months back. Just before the big announcement of her new deal, CupcakKe took to
Instagram to flaunt her new weight loss. “30lbs down – ya girl is back,” she
captioned the photo.
Yesterday, CupcakKe shared a post on Twitter, revealing the exciting
news. “Your girl just signed an 8 million $ deal God is soooooooooooooo
good … I have no words right now.” It didn’t take long for the Chicago
native to flex her newfound wealth as she posted a Louis Vuitton bag with
$60,000, offering to give some away to fans. ”Giving
away this 60k tomorrow. TAG 3 FRIENDS WHO NEED HELP RIGHT NA & make sure
you following the kid,” she posted.
Fans are excited to see the return of CupcakKe as she vanished from
social media following statements that she would be retiring from rap earlier
in the year, with the new deal announcement fans anticipate the rebirth of the “Duck
Duck Goose” rapper.

Chicago rapper CupcakKe, born Elizabeth Eden Harris, tweeted a message about committing suicide on Monday evening, prompting fans to worry about the well-being of the rising star.
“im about to commit suicide,” CupcakKe sent just before 7 p.m. local time, also taking the tweet to Instagram. The rapper did not issue a message after.
Comedian Elijah Daniel noticed the tweet and tried to reach out to the rapper but was unsuccessful, leading him to call the Chicago Police Department.

The police did a wellness check on CupCakKe, which resulted in a visit Daniel states resulte din a trip to the hospital and is “OKAY.”

It’s been relatively quiet on the Azealia Banks front, at least by her stands, but the New York artist is right back at the madness. Banks wasn’t approving of a tweet where someone shined a light on the work that Love and HIp-Hop’s Mariah Lynn has been putting in and tweeted an onslaught of threats and insults. Banks’ Twitter is now suspended.
The original tweet made a comparison of Mariah Lynn and Chicago rapper CupcakKe but managed to get Banks the boot likely over tweets that stated she will punch her rapping counterpart “in her ugly mentally retarded white trash rat nose.”
Lynn and CupcakKe continued their back and forth once Banks was removed. But she will likely find another way to make her presence felt.
