Back in 2018 Diddy manifested that he wanted to own an NFL team and now has the support of New Englands Patriots owner, Robert Kraft.
Before swerving a question about his support for President Donald Trump, he told TMZ he would like Puff to join the franchise. “I hope so,” Kraft said. “I’m a big fan of his.” Puff added, “it’s definitely time.”
At the end of 2017, Diddy called on powerful Black entertainers to help him purchase the Carolina Panthers, but the team was sold to Hedge fund founder David Tepper for $2.2 billion. The mogul then said he no longer wanted to be a team owner because of the league’s oppression against Black players.
His mission to bring Black ownership to the NFL seems a lot more possible than before.
