This Thursday Washington D.C. will be the site of the #CancelKavanaugh rally that will oppose the possible appointment of Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court while supporting women who have been victims of sexual misconduct.
On hand at the Barrett Prettyman Courthouse will be Erykah Badu, John Legend, Whoopi Goldberg, Maxwell and more are set to appear at the event that is promoting citizens to contact senators before Kavanaugh is placed in the Supreme Court seat.
A message released supporting the website reads:
“We anticipate a vote on the Senate floor to confirm Brett Kavanaugh as early as Friday. It is critical we make our voices heard on the ground in Washington on Thursday. If there was ever a moment when the voice of the people can come together in concert to change the fate of our nation, this is it. Arm in arm, organized and ready, every child, woman, and man, must take to the streets to protest this nomination. The legitimacy of the nation’s highest court is at stake as is the future of our country.”
