After reaching the top of the charts with a string of hit singles like, “Chow Chow Eyyy Pow Pow”, “Chilliando Hangueando”, and “Kick it” Remix. International underground band Monsieur Job keeps the hits coming with their latest upbeat hit video for the cut, “Homie (Block Remix)”. Taking it back to the streets, the band show us the vibrant rhythm of life told by the concrete.
The new single carries a well-blended mixture of Latin backbeat accompanied by a sample of the guitar riff from the world famous Bob Marley & The Wailer’s single “Could You Be Loved” accompanied by Jamaican patois and a video packed with smooth dance moves and more – it’s the perfect Summer smash hit from coastal beaches to scorching hot dance floors. Aside from a Summer anthem, the video is a great introduction for newfound fans.
Unfamiliar with Monsieur Job, its California-meets-Columbia including trio of musicians Toby Holguin (Leader), Charlie Illera, and Leo Jaramillo. A passion for the music united them and their creativity took them to the top of the charts. The trio have a signature infused Latin sound mixed with a vintage Hip Hop flavor.
The new video sets up the band’s upcoming high-profile live performance in Columbia this month at the Icon Awards. After the performance, the band prepares the release of their promising new album, a follow-up to their 2018 #2 album on Latin Billboard, Bass Passi.
