“Almost 3 years ago @NICKIMINAJ helped me to get back into school by paying for my college tuition, and tomorrow I will be walking across the stage to receive my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Development & Family Science. Thank you, Nicki”
Back in 2017, a fan asked the rapper if she would pay his college tuition on Twitter, and Minaj agreed to pay fans’ school costs — on one condition.
“Show me straight A’s that I can verify w/ur school and I’ll pay it. Who wants to join THAT contest?!? Dead serious. Shld I set it up?” wrote Minaj.

Although the infectious single served as the reintroduction to Nicki Minaj, it was met with overwhelming controversy after a line in the single mentioned Civil Rights icon Rosa Park in a disrespectful and inaccurate manner—the day before the observation of what would have been Park’s 107th birthday. As previously reported, initial reports from TMZ claimed that Minaj said she meant no harm by the lyric, but Ms. Petty took to her Instastory to deny the claim, stating that she didn’t know that there was controversy nor did she care.
“Never said this,” Nicki wrote with the TMZ headline included. “Had no clue anyone was mad. Don’t care. #Yikes”
The brazen attitude may be giving fans a glimpse into the new demeanor of Minaj. During the Q&A session with fans, Nicki also shared with fans a new alter ego that she plans to debut soon dubbed “Queen Sleeze,” who she states is “more calm but deadly.”
“She’s more calm but way deadlier,” she said. “My husband always says he’s more afraid when I talk quiet then when I yell. Lmao. He said that’s how he knows when I’m dead tf serious.”

In addition to dragging BET by their lace front, the Queen rapper took aim at Grammys producer, Ken Ehrlich, alleging that he’s the reason she never won a Grammy despite 10 nominations.

Cardi B knows there’s a thin line line between love and hate.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper, 26, took to her Instagram story to discuss her new single, “Money,” which was released two days earlier than scheduled. At first, Cardi was initially upset about the leak but decide to embrace it and go into full promotion mode, while calling out Nicki Minaj’s “Barbz.”
“We tried to retract it, but you know the Barbz. They always posting me, they always post everything I do,” Cardi said. “They claim they hate me, but they really love me because they be on my page before my fans.”
“Everything that I do, they be on it before my fans,” the “I Like It” rapper continued. “So clearly, that seems like love to me, seems like you love me, so it’s like, ‘F–k it.’ I can’t retract it, I might as well put it out.”
Minaj and Cardi’s beef has been playing out openly in the past few months, with it reaching a turning point at the Harper’s Bazaar ICONs party where Cardi tossed a shoe at the “Barbie Dreams” rapper. Cardi later said that it was Minaj’s supposed remarks about her girl, Kulture, that set her off.
“I addressed you once in person, I addressed you a second time in person, and every time you copped the plea!! But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f–kin off!!” Cardi wrote on Instagram.
Minaj later addressed the incident on Beat’s 1 Queen Radio, calling the experience “mortifying and humiliating.”
“I would never ridicule anyone’s child,” Minaj said of Cardi’s comments. “[It’s] so sad for someone to pin that on somebody. … I would never talk about anyone’s child or parenting. … These lies are ridiculous.”
