Drake has been very selective about the information he shares with the world about his firstborn. In this instance, it seems near and dear to the heart. As Christmas came to a close, the “God’s Plan” superstar was open to sharing finger painted artwork from his son, Adonis. It was a proud moment for Drake as a father.
The caption on Instagram reads, “Adonis > Picasso don’t @ me.” At this moment, Drake expresses his love for the simple things in life. Although he can fill up his walls with art from greats like Picasso, nothing can compare to the work of his seed.
Adonis was revealed to the world in a rap beef this past summer. Although the Grammy Award-winning artist planned to do so on, Scorpion, Pusha T broke the story first, calling him a deadbeat dad. We later learned that this was not true, but instead a false and entertaining narrative.
“I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world, I was hiding the world from my kid,” he raps on “Emotionless.” As a parent, he wanted to protect his child as much as possible. Any parent would have that instinct. Now we see who Drake is as a parent. Based on the Instagram post, Drake is a loving and caring father.
