The Dime Trap is coming.
Four years since his last album Paperwork, T.I. is set to release his long-awaited 10th album Dime Trap on Oct. 5. The release date first appeared on a billboard (via HipHop-N-More). T.I. has yet to personally announce the date, but he did say that it was coming “freakishly soon.”

The Grand Hustle chief shared a trailer, which features narration from Dave Chappelle, who plays the voice in his head. “All my life all I wanted to do was be great. If the stakes are everything, you’ll tell yourself anything you need to hear to survive,” says the legendary comedian over the sound of organs. “Everything I say is the truth and that’s a lie, and that’s the motherfucking truth.”

Earlier this month, Tip dropped two new singles, the Meek Mill-assisted “Jefe” and Scott Storch-produced “Wraith” featuring Yo Gotti.
Dime Trap, T.I.’s first album on Epic Records, arrives 15 years after the groundbreaking Trap Muzik, which helped pioneer the genre.
“It’s going to be an extension or a continuation of the vibe from Trap Muzik,” he previously told MovieWeb. “I’m breaking it all down, back to the element of where my music first began to interest people, and build it all over again.”
