Grammy-winning rapper T.I. isn’t too impressed with Travis Scott agreeing to do a highly-anticipated Super Bowl LIII halftime performance. The King of the South has shared his personal stance on Cactus Jack’s controversial decision.
In a new interview, Tip suggested the current atmosphere with the NFL’s issues with players kneeling during the national anthem and allegedly blackballing Black Lives Matter activist Colin Kaepernick is reason enough for Scott to do the right thing.
“I think every man have an opportunity … he can make a decision for himself, or he could be selfless. And, nobody can tell someone when to be selfless. … That’s every man’s right to choose that moment for themselves. So, if this ain’t something that he wanted to be selfless about, hopefully in the future we’ll see other moments where he will. You dig?” (Raq Rants)
Recently, Indiana rapper Freddie Gibbs called out people singling out Scott and not the NFL players.
Y’all mad at Travis for doing the super bowl but not the niggaz that’s playing in it.

Last week, various celebs singled out Scott over a report going viral about him allegedly getting consulted by NFL free agent and Black Lives Matter activist Colin Kaepernick ahead of the halftime performance.
Hot 97 radio veteran Funk Flex‘s co-workers Ebro Darden and Kaepernick affiliate Ness Nitty have also addressed the headline-generating reports.
