Fans were ready to cancel Summer Walker for the next 24 hours. The Soul Train Award recipient visited Toronto, CA last night for her Over It Tour, but the show was delayed for hours. While fans stood in the cold in outrage, Summer was seen in photo ops with Drake. The optics just did not look good at that point. Her fans certainly took to Twitter to voice their unhappiness with the “Come Thru” singer.
Lol Summer Walker is something else. Had y’all waiting 3+ hours to perform for 25 mins? And no opener? And tickets were $100+? AND she was galavanting the streets of Toronto with Drake? Lol she doesn’t respect y’all.

Well, it turns out that there was an equipment issue that caused the delay. According to The Shade Room, Summer’s performance equipment was stuck at the U.S- Canadian border. In addition, she was unaware of the equipment issue once she took the stage. In the meantime, Drake knew she was in town, so it would be remiss not to link with the 6 God in his own city.
Despite the tardy comparisons to Lauryn Hill she received on social media, the 23-year-old singer received an unbelievable reception from the crowd once she took the stage. She even added that Toronto was her favorite city to sweeten them over as well.
Prior to the concert, Summer Walker issued a public service announcement to the attendees.
“If y’all wanna see 2 splits, a back flip, an a Adele belt, & one Pussy pop this show is not for you.” Lol just this is for wine sippers, blunt roller & hand swayers.”
Over It sets the mood for exactly that.
