After much anticipation, YBN Cordae steps to the plate with his debut album The Lost Boy.
The 21-year-old MC, who earned a spot on XXL‘s 2019 Freshman Class, has been building buzz ever since the release of “Old Ni**as,” his response to J. Cole’s “1985.” On his first album, he calls on some familiar names including Cole, who produced the Anderson .Paak-assisted “RNP.”
The 15 tracks also include appearances from Chance the Rapper, Meek Mill, Pusha-T, Ty Dolla $ign, and Arin Ray, with production from Terrace Martin, Syd, SiR, and Bongo ByTheWay.

“The Lost Boy represents anyone who hasn’t found their path or their calling yet,” Cordae told Apple Music. “That’s kind of where I was at a point in my life, just lost.”
The Maryland-raised rapper recently wrapped the first leg of his “Lost Boy” tour. This fall, he will join Logic on his “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind Tour,” which kicks off Oct. 5 in Vancouver.
