Hip-hop newcomer Lil Mosey breaks out with his newest project, Northsbest.
The 16-year-old Mogul Vision/Interscope Records signee showcases his melodic flow on the 11 tracks, produced by Royce David, which include “Noticed,” “Boof Pack,” and “Yoppa” featuring BlocBoy JB. He also raps over a familiar sample of Chris Brown’s 2005 hit “Yo (Excuse Me Miss)” on “Greet Her.”
“Creating Northsbest has been crazy,” says the Seattle rapper. “If people didn’t know much about me or where I’m from before, they do now. It’s only up from here.”
Mosey’s star continues to rise. His single “Noticed” entered the Billboard Hot 100, and racked up over 51 million global streams. In addition to performing at SXSW and Rolling Loud, Mosey opened up for Juice WRLD on his “WRLD Domination Tour.”
