The Internet has been looking at Steph Curry a little bit sideways after he stated that he didn’t believe that an astronaut once walked on the moon. In a conversation with Vince Carter, Andre Iguodala and Kent Bazemore on THe Ringer’s NBA podcast, Chef Curry stated his belief that the moon landing was staged. Today, Curry backtracked those statements and stating he wasn’t being serious.
“One thousand percent. Obviously, I was joking when I was talking on the podcast, Curry shared. “I was silently protesting how stupid it was that people actually took that quote and made it law as, ‘Oh my God, he’s a fake-moon-landing truther,’ whatever you want to call it, yada, yada, yada. So I was silently protesting that part about it, how the story took a life of its own.”
Steph stated that he will take up NASA on the offer they presented for him to get a “firsthand” experience of what goes on at their offices. As far as his statement: “For kids out there that hang on every word that we say, which is important, understand that you should not believe something just because somebody says it. ”
Another lesson from Steph Curry. On the court, the Warriors line up is beginning to look healthy and getting ready for another run through the regular season.
