Silento, the 23-year-old “Watch Me Whip, Watch Me Nae Nae” star has found himself in some trouble again. This time, the singer is being accused of murdering his cousin.
Silento, real name Ricky Lamar Hawk was arrested in Dekalb County after police say he murdered his cousin, 34-year-old Fredrick Rooks. Police found Rooks dead at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds after responding to a call at 3:30 AM. Further details regarding the investigation have yet to be released.
As many were already concerned about the mental health of Silento following his previous incidents, fans have been making their own speculations in the rapper’s defense.
Public relations manager, Chanel Hudson released a statement on her Instagram in an attempt to defend her client. “Please send my client Silento some positive vibrations,” she begins. “Over the past several years, Ricky has been suffering immensely from a series of mental health illnesses. We will continue in his efforts of treatment, but we ask in the meantime the public uplift him and his family in immediate prayer & positive energy!!
