Second Man Arrested for Mac Miller’s Death

A second man has been arrested in connection with Mac Miller’s fatal overdose.

Ryan Reavis, a 36-year-old man from Lake Havasu City, is in custody following an investigation by the FBI and DEA. According to TMZ, law enforcement agencies arrested him after searching his home and finding drugs including prescription-only pills and marijuana. Cops also confiscated firearms, including a 9mm pistol and two shotguns, a homemade firearm suppressor, and an arsenal of ammo. Additionally, they found a physician’s prescription pad.

Reavis was arrested and booked on fraud, drug, and gun charges. His bail was set at $50,000.

Earlier this month, Mac’s alleged dealer, Cameron James Pettit, was arrested for allegedly supplying Mac with counterfeit oxycodone pills containing fentanyl that cops say led to his death. Prosecutors believe Pettit worked with two women, a prostitute and a madam, who allegedly assisted in supplying Mac with drugs two days before he died.

Miller was discovered unresponsive in his Studio City, Calif. home on Sept. 7, 2018. The Coroner ruled his death as an accidental overdose due to mixed drug toxicity of fentanyl, cocaine, and alcohol.

During a memorial in his hometown, the rapper’s father, Mark McCormick, addressed Pettit’s arrest. “So they finally caught that motherf**ker that sold him the drugs,” he said. “And we find some comfort. And many of us were young including me experimenting with drugs, but it’s a different fucking world out there. And all it takes is a little stone, a little tiny stone of fentanyl and cocaine and you’re dead.”
