“Love & Hip Hop” couple Safaree Samuels and Erica Mena have people wondering if they’re really on the verge of calling it quits with one another or doing a major PR stunt. The engaged pair have revealed signs of trouble going down in paradise.
Safaree went to Twitter this week to beg for forgiveness from Mena and admitted to making a mistake.
In late December, Erica hinted at having some major news for her and Safaree’s fans.

Last year, reports claimed Safaree received the green light from Erica’s family to pop the engagement question.
A rep for Safaree, KD McNair, tells TMZ … Safaree made it his mission to first ask Erica’s family for their blessing, reaching out to them weeks before popping the question. Safaree and Erica started dating this year, but their engagement wasn’t a spur-of-the-moment thing … we’ve learned the ‘Love & Hip Hop’ stars first met when Erica was 17. We’re told Erica’s mom and son were 100% down with the proposal … they’ve loved Safaree ever since he starred alongside Erica in VH1’s “Scared Famous.” (TMZ)
In 2018, both Samuels and Mena went to their Instagram pages to reflect on the headline-generating proposal.
