Rihanna hasn’t dropped music in four years but she continues to make history.
Her collaboration with PARTYNEXTDOOR, “Believe It” is sitting at the No. 23 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. The PARTYMOBILE cut marks Riri’s first feature since DJ Khaled’s “Wild Thoughts.” She made a subtle appearance on Jay Electronica’s A Written Testimony, but her musical presence is pretty much nonexistent at this point.
Rihanna now has 51 Top 40 hits, surpassing The Beatles and her mentor, JAY-Z. She is now the tenth artist to have more than 50 Top 40 hits.
Another cool note is that the singer had a song charting in three decades: 2000, 2010, 2020.
During her cover story with British Vogue, she revealed that she’s expanding the Fenty Beauty brand to skincare. “Skincare, it’s the truth,” she said. “It either works or it doesn’t. There’s nowhere to hide.”
In the same interview, she spoke about her album which she assured isn’t a reggae album, but it doesn’t have a set release date. So we’ll just have to sit back, relax, and listen to any of the songs that were charting in the past three decades.
