Atlanta rapper Rich The Kid and Usher are counting their lucky stars. New reports claim the duo survived a shooting and robbery outside a California studio.
According to reports, the headline-generating attack went down Tuesday (February 12) afternoon at a West Hollywood studio.
Multiple shots were fired — possibly as many as 10 — during the incident at Westlake Recording Studio … according to eyewitnesses. We’re told the man who opened fire was running away from the studio when he started shooting behind him. Law enforcement sources tell us Usher was in the studio, but not hurt. We’re told Rich was outside when it all went down, and it appears he was the target of the robbery. Multiple entourage members were also attacked, and at least one bodyguard was badly pistol whipped. Despite the speculation, Usher and Rich The Kid didn’t hit the studio together to work on collaborative music.
Rich the Kid’s condition is unknown at this time. Initial reports suggested Usher was also attacked, however, the singer, 40, was fortunately safely inside the studio at the time gunfire broke out. Usher, PEOPLE confirms, was working on his own music and was not recording with Rich the Kid. (People)
Yesterday, Rich shared a pic of himself flexing in front of a luxury car with a stack of money.
